Event Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

  1. The entry forms for the events define the terms & conditions for taking part in the event. They include, but are not limited to:
    1. The events that can be entered into and the entry fees for each event.
    2. Which events have place prizes awarded and which events have spot prizes awarded.
    3. Entries dated after the closing date will be subject to an additional admin fee of $10.
    4. Refunds of entry fee (less a handling fee of $10) will be made on withdrawals notified up to the notified closing date of the event. NO REFUNDS will be made after this date.
    5. In case of an “ACT of God” conditions causing a cancellation of the event, the total entry fee is NOT refundable.
  2. Transfer of an entry to another person is not possible. Transfer to another event or another category is possible. The difference in entry fee between events is either to be paid if the event transferred to has a higher entry fee or refunded when the event transferred to has a lower entry fee. Refunds will be subject to a deduction of a $10 handling fee and will only be made up to the closing date of the event. After that date no refund will be given if an entrant wishes to transfer to an event with a lower entry fee.
  3. All entry fees and other prizes are in New Zealand Dollars.
  4. On payment we accept New Zealand Dollars.
  5. Run Walk Hawke’s Bay has the absolute discretion in accepting an entry, and it may be revoked at any time.
  6. In entering in the event organised by Run Walk Hawke’s Bay the entrant gives Run Walk Hawke’s Bay permission to use the entrant’s name, voice or picture to be used in any broadcast, telecast, advertising and promotion or in any other way relating to this event pursuant to the Privacy Act 1993.
  7. In entering in the event the entrant gives Run Walk Hawke’s Bay permission to use their email address for sending the entrant email newsletters about Run Walk Hawke’s Bay events. On receipt of these emails the entrant can unsubscribe at any time from receiving these email newsletters.
