Saturday 23 August was our 30th anniversary of the Hawke's Bay Marathon. It has been run over several different courses, but I am sure that many of our runners and walkers agree, that the current course along the two sides of the Tuki Tuki river is a beautiful one. We managed again to turn on a perfect day in the Bay. We had fantastic results, from a fast marathon run to several participants in the 10km walk that did this sort of the first time and finished in great spirits. The results are in.

With this year the second time that we had the half marathon instead of the relay we saw a significant increase in half marathon numbers, which was great to see. As always we love to hear what we did well or what we can improve. Email us to let us know. All constructive comments are much appreciated. One of things we very much apologise for is the glitch we had with two of our waterstops. That was very unfortunate and we will put everything in place to prevent this from happening again.
